a gift or present?... A PRESENT

Christmas-gifts and gifts-Christmas, it seems a logical association for people, butnot for me. In my house, used to being very frugal at Christmas, and we prefer toshare a nice dinner with your family, to focus all our attention on the gifts, I think it must be that as time passes and there is no such emotion to the surprise of receiving the gift you asked for, it is rather something that occurs among children,and in my house are all adults. For this reason, I have never given anything for Christmas, rather they are my parents and my brother who I were given a small giftfor that date. For me, this tradition is best, because when I tried to give me things at other times is very difficult to choose a gift that you might like the other person, always wanting to pressure that the other person likes and left accordance with the present, and along with that, I've always liked to make original gifts that impact onanother person, and do that at Christmas, considering the large number of people Iwould like to give something, it would be awful.
Personally I do like getting presents, but never to be very expensive, because I feel guilty when I get, I like knowing that the person spent a lot of money on somethingmaterial, instead, I prefer this more sense, because for me is worth more than what the price might say.

How green am I? Not as much as I wanted, and I must admit that not only ignorance of the environmentally friendly practices, but unfortunately the human being, and I include myself - or at least so I think-, is accustomed to taking the easy way, preferring leave all the appliances plugged before worrying about unplugging every night, why?because that annoying given five minutes to 24 hours a day to make an arduous task, which demands much effort. People know and learn these environmentally friendly practices in general by the media, but most of it not the practice, almost a year I've become increasingly aware, but not because of poor government campaigns (which I believe leave much to be desired, just remember the last campaign of the government, where ministers motivate men to come to work without a tie for not using the air conditioning ... sure ministers were to stop using the air conditioning in their beautiful and confortable officies or in their expensive cars hahahaha) but thanks to my brother, who specialized in environmental law and who has encouraged everyone in my house with his knowledge of these practices so that we perform in our daily lives.
My two cents for the care of the environment, although not much, is that I try as much as possible every time I see trash on the floor, pick it up and dump it where it should, which is not much, but it is what you can; also in my house with my mom often go to the supermarket, where there are recycling bins to recycle glass bottles and pack boxes trick; and in my country house, with the garbage that accumulates not burn many people as is done in the field, but we make compost or leaf soil is said to her. I wish I could provide perhaps using fewer transantiago buses and mobilize walking or using the bike, but it's impossible because I live far from the university and if I wanted, would have to leave at 5 in the morning from my house to get to campus at 8 and a half.
Over time, I think it should be an obligation in schools to be taught the children about caring for the environment, not just a few are linked to eco- organizations. I am not linked to any of these organizations, but I try, as I said earlier, doing what I can with the resources I have, to protect the environment.
What is missing in society is consciousness, all the damage is at this moment in our planet is the fault of human ambition, which has put its interests, without measuring consequences on the welfare of our home, our planet, because that's what we are, we are citizens of planet earth, and as citizens, it is our duty now to reverse our mistakes. As Albert Einstein said: "There are only 2 things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, but I'm not sure of the first, second you can see how we destroy only prove who is stronger."

All the things I like

Travel? If I like to travel? That question, it takes me half a second and answer: yes, I love travelling.
Unfortunately there have been many times I have traveled, or at least, I have nottraveled much outside the country. Chile I have the pleasure to know a lot, but I traveled abroad four times, and I find it fascinating.
All the trips I've done outside the country have been special to me. The first trip was to Ecuador to visit some of my family that lives there, and I remember it especially because it was the first time I got on a plane and did not understand much that was not in Chile. The second time I went to Bariloche, this trip was not planned, we were in the south with my family and my parents decided from one moment to an other across the range. The third was my study tour and met  Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. And the fourth and last trip I did was two years ago with my mom, who invited me to visit Buenos Aires as a gift to my senior year.

Traveling, meeting new cultures, new forms of life, learn the traditional foods (and not so typical), not think there's a better picture. Travel has all the things I like. 

Honestly the kind of trip for me will depend on where you want to know and the people with whom you travel.

I personally would like to make three trips, and for each one of them, I would do it in different ways and with different people. First, I love backpacking from San Pedro de Atacama, and end at Machu Picchu with a group of friends. Second I would love to have a beach holidays on Cancun and obviously know the culture Aztec  with my family. And third is to do a tour in some European countries like England, France, Spain, Holland, Italy and Greece, although not believe me, I would love to do it alone.

Of course children are unhappy. They live here too

MY "FAVORITE BAND"

Hmm talk about music for me is not easy, because unlike many people, I like a lot of styles of music.. I think it must be because I've heard over the radio that pigeonholeinto a single singer or genre, and this is because the free time I had time to listen music was when I came and I returned from school, and these trips always I was in car, and radio thus became  "my favorite band". Which is why many people nowbother me saying I'm a "radio woman" , I know many songs, many singers, bands and styles, and it's hard to decide just one.

Almost two years ago that the singer could say that has matched my attention is Manuel Garcia, a  singer-songwriter representative of   "Nueva trova chilena", which are too Camila Moreno, Nano Stern, Pascuala Ilabaca, singers that I really like too, and it  will sound funny but all of them "introduced me" Radio Uno (97.1) radio that plays only chilean musica, and in which I found too many bands that like Inti Illimani, Quilapayún, Santiago del Nuevo extreme, etc.
Music for me is my way out in difficult times where you do not want to talk to anyone and just want to revel in any genre, style, band or singer, according to my mood, and music is part of my daily life when I go running or when I make the long trips from home to school and not want to read on the way. The only bad thing is that on the subway the radio signal is lost jajajajaja.
